Every year we stage a healthy mixture of plays and pantomimes, interspersed with social events, ranging from quiz nights and summer BBQs to play readings and Christmas parties.

Shows & Productions

On Friday 21st August at 7.30 in the Riverside Hall, we will be showing a digitally remastered version of the Bampton Players production of “The Unexpected Guest” to commemorate 50 years since the death of Agatha Christie. The event is free but it will be ticketed so we can manage the number of attendees.Tickets will be available from Bampton Fresh a bit nearer the time.

Then on 22nd, 23rd and 24th October, the Bampton Players will be staging the comedy “Rumours” by Neil Simon in the Riverside Hall – one for your diary! Information about tickets will be published here nearer the time.

Forthcoming Social Activities

Following our celebration tea on Saturday 20th June to mark the Players’ 50th Anniversary, on Saturday 25th July at Midday at Sherwood the Players will be holding their annual Summer BBQ. If you plan to attend please contact Avril: avril.saxby@gmail.com letting her know if you will be bringing along something sweet or savoury. Also bring some drink, but no need to bring a chair!
